Overview
An alliance of powerful spellcasters, the Twelve are secretive and reluctant to share their intentions with those outside their order. Sponsored by the Dragonmarked Houses, they reside outside the city and have been known to explore and research ancient artifacts brought to their Tower. They seek to understand the lost mysteries of the ancients, as well as further the interests of the Dragonmarked Houses. In some cases, their research has uncovered many wonders currently enjoyed by the city - such as the Eldritch Devices. In other cases, their magical investigations could prove dangerous. The Twelve work reluctantly with outsiders to research the great wonders of Xen'drik, and their doors are now open to those seeking to aid in the struggles against the other planes of existance.
