Chapter 1
- Bittany told you the legend of the Glacial Abyss' guardian. Beneath the Tree of Woe, under the Orchard of the Macabre is the Abyss. You are to explore and seek out the guardian and defeat it. This step is essential to gaining access to the Black Mausoleum.
- Complete the quest Ghosts of Perdition
- You found the Abyss' guardian, Cholthulzz, the Doomsphere. You freed him from his imprisonment and proceeded to battle the Doomsphere throughout the Abyss. You proved yourself a worthy adversary and earned Cholthulzz's respect. He has offered to assist you in defeating the Black Abbot. Return to Bittany and surprise her with this news.
