Spell Talk:Trap the Soul

The components needed to cast this spell cannot be skipped with eschew materials. Furthmore, given the current drop rates of Khyber Dragon-shards it is unlikely anyone will be casting the Tier II/III of this spell anytime soon.
The current selling rate for 1000 Khyber Dragon Shards on Thelanis seems to be about 10k platinum.
Obtained: 10,000 Khyber Dragonshard Fragments (x10k platinum = 1 million gold).
Becomes: 100 Tiny Khyber Shards (10 HD) Becomes: 20 Small Khyber Shards (20 HD) Becomes: 8 Average Khyber Shards (30 HD)
That's a little excessive for 20/8 casts of a spell hit or miss. Especially when after reading the raid items recipies, people are creating Capture the Soul Guards to effect without mass amounts of money.
I don't know about you. I don't have 1 million gold sitting around to buy dragon shards just to maybe hit with a spell. It seems that the only people using this spell will those who are rich, pool resources from a guild, or obtain the shards in shadier manners.
In my opinion, it's a little wasteful for something that might/might not be useful. Potions on the other hand, keep you alive just a little bit longer.
