General
Perform is a class skill for Bards. Its mitigating statistic is charisma.
Functionality
Perform allows a bard to use some of their unique class abilities. The amount of perform required is the Bard's skill ranks in perform, i.e., unmodified perform skill. Items and feats that raise perform will not unlock new bardic abilities, but do raise the effectiveness of some songs, such as Fascinate, that use Perform skill to determine DC.
