Helping Others Find Your Page

From DDO Compendium

Now that you've started your page, you need to help others to find it! Linking to it from a forum signature or a website is one way, but an even better way is to include your page in compendium categories related to your page! This allows others browsing through the Compendium to more easily find your page, and know right away what your page is about.

To place your page in a category, find the name of the category and add the following code somewhere in your page (many people prefer to put it at the bottom, but technically you can put it anywhere in your page):
[[Category:Name]]

Example: If you were making a page for your two weapon fighter character build, you could place your page in the character builds category by using [[Category:Character Builds]].

Look around the Compendium for existing categories so you know what to put after "Category:". Using the Category code, the Compendium will automatically list your page in the category for you! You can even make your page appear in more than one category.

Example: You want to put your character page under both "Argonnessen Characters" and "Rogue Builds". You would just put the following somewhere in your page:
[[Category:Argonnessen Characters]] [[Category:Rogue Builds]]
