Guild Description:

We are a group of adults who want to enjoy the experience of Dungeons & Dragons Online with unique, like-minded individuals who are dedicated to having fun. We are family and couples oriented and understand that sometimes the needs of our families might interrupt our play time, however, we try to limit those occurrences to as few as we possibly can. Our play style is varied from exploration to gaining levels in a hurry power levelling, with a focus towards end game. We also have some avid PVP/ers as this is a good lighthearted way to test our playing skills and character's builds in game. We operate on a 'need before greed' basis when determining loot disbursement, and our focus is on integrity, honesty and applying “the golden rule” to our guild-mates.

Code of Conduct:

What are the special requirements for joining?

All members must be adults--over 18 years of age.
All members must have an active membership in Dungeons & Dragons Online “DDO”.
All members must be residing on the Thelanis server.
All members must abide by our Mission/Purpose (see above).

What is our policy on participation?

Participation requirements for Inferus Sus are very casual. Members are only expected to play when they can. The most important rules are common courtesy and respect.

Questing structure will take two forms--'spur of the moment' grouping and scheduled questing. It's polite to finish a quest you start, unless an emergency arises or you've made arrangements pre-quest. And for scheduled events you've signed up for, it is important to let a party member know ahead of quest time if you find you can’t make it.

Should a member become inactive for more than three months, the Inferus Sus reserves the right to remove them from the guild UNLESS the member has requested a leave of absence and posted this on our forums.

What is our policy on adding new members?

Running a full party through any given quest makes it just that much easier to complete. To that end, we must add to our numbers. At guild start-up, we were in full recruiting mode and that's not likely to change, at least for awhile. Officers and founders are expected to invite prospective members in for a full membership. However, we must keep an eye toward our guidelines and making sure a member will be a good fit. Before receiving an invitation to Inferus SuS, you must register on our website, then fill out an application. We can then arrange a meet and greet in game. From there, you must group with 2 officers, so we can get a feel for your game play and personality. If we mesh well, an invite will be forthcoming.

Why should members register on the guild web site?

The main reason you should register is communication. We have discussions, voting polls, schedule activities, and post the guild inventory all on the site. Our forum is also where you can go to ask your fellow members questions or share stories--or even post the backstory to your character. Most important, it's where you can keep in touch with your guild mates. If DDO houses our characters and gives us a place to play, then Vinton's Page is our clubhouse. It is the responsibility of every member to stay informed.

What are the grounds for expulsion from the guild?

Any abuse of our special requirements or our Mission/Purpose is grounds for immediate dismissal from the guild and website. Harrasing, abusing, hazing, unwarranted greed, or other behavior which is found to be unacceptable is grounds for immediate review/possible termination of your membership. **Please respect each other**

How should we as members of Inferus Sus handle problems or disagreements with other members?

Quests can get frustrating and tempers can run short. However, remember that we're all here to have fun. It is a game after all. If you can't let it pass or resolve your disagreement peaceably, please take it to a officer who will deal with the situation fairly.

What are the requirements for using Inferus Sus website (message board)?

The website for Inferus Sus is a tool to help us share ideas, funny stories, strategies, and to coordinate questing times. While using the website, we must adhere to the Mission/Purpose of our guild and our focus remains the same: integrity, honesty and applying “the golden rule” to our board-mates..

Look forward to seeing you in Ebberon
