Welcome to the DDO Unlimited update to the Compendium. We are pleased to provide you with several new features including an all new front page, hints, and rating features!
New Features
Hints
The Compendium can now display a page of the hints that appear in-game. These are the hints that pop up while you are playing and provide useful information on the game mechanics, etc.
Article Ratings
You can now rate game and user created articles! To rate an article, clicking on the rating symbols at the bottom of the article. You may assign a rating between 1 and 5. This is similar to the ratings that are already available on my.ddo.com
- Only users who are logged into the Compendium can rate an article.
- You can only rate an article once; your username is recorded and used to determine if the control will allow you to rate the article.

The Compendium has been updated with the latest game data from Update 1
New Front Page
The Compendium home page design and extra features!
- You can now see a feed of the most recent, and highest rated, articles in the Compendium!
- Links to the most recent game release notes can now be found on the front page in addition to the category navigation.
- A mini-version of the advanced search feature is available on the front page. You can still access the full advanced search by clicking through to the advanced search page.
- Auto-complete is not available in this search field. If you would like the Compendium to try and auto-complete your search, use the standard search field located in the upper right of the screen.
- There is now a community guides spotlight! The Turbine team will periodically select guides created in the Compendium for spotlights!
- Handy help topics have been added to the front page!
Bug Fixes
- Several icons were corrected in the tooltips
- The page for "Longsword" was incorrectly redirecting to the Compendium front page
- Corrected an issue with misalignment of the sorting columns when browsing search results
