Swim is a class skill for Fighters, Barbarians, Rogues, Rangers, and Bards. Its mitigating statistic is strength.
[edit] Functionality
An increased swim skill allows your character to breathe longer while under water. The Underwater Action property on items supersedes the swim skill, allowing you breathe underwater forever.
